I have always loved history and family storytelling. As a child, I sat riveted in my chair as the elders told stories. I truly enjoyed history and geography classes in elementary school. So when I learned of my grandfather’s early 20th century original love letters, I begged my Aunt Annie for them. I was born in Brooklyn, New York. The beautiful borough of my birth has many distinct neighborhoods and amazing diversity that facilitated my solid growth and development.
